Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have 2 cats:)

How long does it take to finish a drawing (approximately)?

Depeds how big the drawing is, but maybe 5 hours?Thou I never sit down 5 hours and draws non-stop, I maybe draw 1 hour/day.

Have you ever designed a bookcover?

No, but I've recently designed a manga Modesty Blaist ”cover”, for the swedish Modesty Blaist (agent X9 ) magazine. It's going to be published in the christmas magazine together with an interview with me:) .

How much does an orginal drawing cost?

Depeds how big the drawing is but ca 700-1400 kr, with is arround 100-200 dollars. I also sell prints of my art, and they costs arround 14-22 dollars. (size A4 and A3)

Do you want to be an illustrator all your life?

No,, I study chemistry right now, maybe a chemistry professor? XD Haha! Well, I'm thinking this way: I want to study and get a job within pharmaceutical industry, but I can promise you that I will continue to draw the rest of my life. I draw because thats make me happy, I love it, it's not “work” for me, it's life :)

Have anyone/anything insiprated you to draw, or inspirated your style? :3 Im very interested to hear~

Yes.life inspires me everyday! I love Da Vinci, Dali, Toboso Yana, thou I do not draw like them XD haha, but they inspires me. And the music of nightwish, omg, I'm not sure how I ever could draw before I heard their music?

 

Tell us your favorite fictional character from anime, film, book, ext. and why?
Also, what inspires you the most to draw?

Hm.Probably Albus Dumbledore from “Harry Potter” (he's so smart gentle, I wish I could me more gentle too ^^) and Sebastian from the manga “kuroshitsuji”, I would love to have a butler like him!

Life, music and my feelings. It's almost like therapy for me, and becuase I'v had a really eventful (is that a word?) life, that has effected me to express myself more with my art.

 

Do you plan to make a manga or an artbook? or you have already done?

No, I have no artbook yet, but yes, I'm planning to make one, but i really want it to be perfect before I publish it, so it might take some time ^^

I saw your works majorally done by Copic. Why you choose Copic? Not watercolor, pencil. And have you ever tired when coloring with Copic for a big space of your drawing? I mean like sky,face etc .Are you learn to use Copic from someone or just by self-taught?

I choosed copics because I like the smooth result they are able to give. I wish I could use watercolors, but I don't feel the same control as I feel with copics. I really like have control over my workingmedias XD. I'm selftaught, copics are really rare in sweden! Yes, coloring big areas with copics is really annoying (and costs a lot of ink) so I use airbrush for the big areas insted. Not copic airbrush, it sucks, but acrylic airbrush:).

do you have any tips as to how you learned to draw, like how you started out or ways that you started drawing?

Practise:) Everyday! And watch a lot of anime and read a lot of manga.Observe the world!:)

I don't remember what I started draw, but a good idea is to start with the face and learn tha face expressions, before you move on to draw a full figure person.

How and when did you started drawing??

When I was 2 years old, I've got some soap-crayons when I bathed. I used them to draw on my little brother. He became full of colors (and really clean after that). Haha! Since that I've always been drawing, and I got the same passion now, as then. I love the fact that you can never be “full-learned”, because that means I can alway learn to draw, the rest of my life :D

Yes, three younger brothers.

How come you never draw boys? and do you ever just doodle carelessly (like in a sketchy way) or are all your drawing crisp and clean?

I've drawed 10 boys this year, and 20 girls.Haha, well, I love drawing long hair, so I guess that's why. Of course boys can have long hair to, but when I draw them with long hair, they still looks like girls. Maybe I need to practice “mens face”.

 omg, I almost NEVER draw crisp and clean, yes, I have SO MUCH sketches, It's problably because of all my sketchpaper the amazonas jungle is disapearing. I promise, If I ever become rich and famous, I will plant a new jungle.

Concepts that makes people react and think. Thou I do not draw them so often...

Which copic markers did you first buy?

I think it was E00, E01, 100, and RV08. Skincolors, black and red:)

How do you color/blend your skintones so well? Looking at your current piece, I am truly impressed!

Hehe, thanks:) Hm, I don't know, maybe it,s because I uses many diffrent colors when I colors the skin? For example, to the darkest shadows, I mostly uses lilac or blueviolet.
